My car has an automatic transmission. After 10 minutes i was able to start the car again, and limped home. If the electronics got submerged, wait for a few days for them to dry completely.

Other Than Spraying Everything With Wd40, Any Ideas.


Often the air filter housing (box) will have a drain in it for these reasons. If it doesn't work, go through a logical checklist; Starter motor, starter motor relay, starter motor fuse.

After Two Days At The Garage, They Found Out That A Gas Tank Vent Hose And The Charcoal Filter Were Full Of Water.


I tried starting it and it would crank but it wouldn't start. Have a shop pull the plugs and turn it over by hand (or just tell them you think it's hydrolocked, they'll know the process). I have a 06 330i i went through a puddle the other night and my car just died out.
